"Cartage Thalasso" at the time it was one of the best hotels in Gammarth. "Five" with a large center of thalassotherapy, extensive pools and a lot of lotions - an ideal resting place, which it seemed in the mid-90's.
In due course, however, the numbered fund was obviously dilapidated, and the star rating (with it and the price list) did not decrease. Today, the hotel does not seem to be attracted by five stars, but prices are exorbitant - at this price one can relax at the hotel easier and especially not notice the difference in quality.
There are, of course, relatively new suites with a nod towards exclusivity. In practice, this is expressed in the fact that curtains and bedspreads are updated, put plasma ... but the state of the bathroom clearly no one paid attention.
The advantage of the hotel is its sandy beach, this is the first coast line, the beach is spacious with a gently sloping entrance to the water.
Meals - for the "four", nothing outstanding, but everything seems to be there.
