In one of the most beautiful places in Tambov, not far from the channel of the river Tsny, in the street bearing the name of the composer, in the summer of 2006 a monument to S. V. Rakhmaninov - the famous Russian pianist, composer and conductor. Sculptor - A. I. Rukavishnikov, architect - V. B. Bukhayev. The figure of the musician is made in full growth, he looks along the channel of the river, the right hand is attached to the heart.

The memorable stone in the place of the house where S. Rachmaninov lived was placed in the summer of 2012 in the square of Kozma Prutkov at the intersection of streets Karl Marx and Maxim Gorky, in the business center of Tambov. In a ramshackle house demolished during the construction of the square, once lived Tambov noblemen Poluboyarinov, who repeatedly stopped composer during visits to Tambov. In its place in the square, a tetrahedral memorial granite stone was adorned, decorated with Rakhmaninov's autograph and a commemorative inscription.
