In the summer in Kislovodsk it's great to walk. Fortunately, the city has many places where you can walk slowly and admire the beautiful city. One of the most beloved places among locals and tourists is the Rose Valley.
She is in the park next to the Ordzhonikidze sanatorium. Here you can witness a truly amazing picture. In a vast territory planted a huge number of flowers - just the sea! They are of different varieties, of different colors and can enthrall any person.
To the Valley leads a long path, about a half kilometer, starting from the main narzanoy gallery. She leads past the orange avenues, and then turns into a wide asphalt road. On the way there are a small serpentarium, a spring, a swimming pool, a chess house and cafes.
Most of the buds of the Valley open in the middle of summer - July-August. To tear flowers is strictly prohibited, you can get a fine. For safety, employees are being watched. Local residents respect the Valley and demand the same from tourists.
Also, the employees are monitoring the park itself, where the Valley of Roses is located. He is looked after all year round, cut grass and bushes, water the paths. Here you can safely walk in the dark, as along the avenues there are streetlights.
The park occupies a large area, it is not easy to get around it in a day. On the way, there are numerous souvenir sellers, as well as photographers who offer memorable pictures of eagles and vultures
Under one of the trees in the Valley of Roses is hidden a 15-meter crocodile, similar to an ancient monster. Only very impressionable people can frighten him, because the crocodile is carved out of stone. Tourists with great pleasure are photographed next to him and put their head in the heavy jaws. The monster from afar produces bright white teeth shining in the sun.
Closer to the exit is the cable car station. Sitting in a cozy booth, you can enjoy the view of the park from a height. A short trip will show you everything that is on its territory.
As already mentioned, the Rose Valley is not far from Ordzhonikidze sanatorium. Nearby is the hotel "Caucasus". These places are noisy, habitable, with a developed infrastructure. Therefore, tourists tired of this rest, go to flowers
