The building in which the art collection of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia is kept looks rather unusual - attention is attracted by the dark polishing of the stone, and interesting architectural features. However, this is not surprising, since the collection is based on the works of contemporary masters of the 20th century.
The collection of the museum is extremely rich and, logically, highly appreciated by art critics. So if you are a fan of modern art, then you should definitely go into the building on Grabbeplatz. It, by the way, is code-named "K20", and the collection is based on the works of artists and sculptors of the 20th century, the main emphasis is on the works of classical modern art.
By the way, this is only one of the buildings of the meeting, in Stendehouse there is another branch under code name "K21". By name it is not difficult to guess that the works of the authors of the 21st century are presented here.
