The Düsseldorf Theater Museum was formed on the basis of a private foundation that for 30 years the actress Louise Dumont and directed by Gustav Lindemann . In 1938 . they registered a private archive "Dumont-Lindemann", and in 1947 . all materials became the property of the city . For the public visit, the archives were presented only in 1978 . @, three years later by the decision of the municipality the private arch Iv became a city museum .
Museum exposition
The exposition of the theatrical museum is woven from commemorative photographs, old posters and posters, textbooks on theatrical skill, original manuscripts, yellowed newspaper clippings, sketches of stage costumes and puppets
