The exposition of the German Film Museum (Deutsches Filmmuseum) is devoted to the history of the cinema industry. In the museum are the praxinoscope of the French inventor Emile Reynaud, the kinetoscope of the American inventor Thomas Edison, a copy of the Lumiere brothers' cinema, and also demonstrates how special effects were created for different films. On the second floor of the museum building, the old films are being broadcasted
