The collection of the Museum of Applied Arts (Museum für Angewandte Kunst) is represented by objects of decorative and applied art of European and Asian origin from ancient times to our days. The exposition of the museum is divided into several subjects: book art and graphics, design, European art craft, Islamic art, art and art craft of East Asia. The museum has Persian carpets and faience of the 9th century, rococo furniture, glassware of the 15th century, works on modern digital graphics, and its own library.
