The exposition of the Etienne Museum (Hetjens-Museum) is dedicated to the history of ceramics for 8 thousand years and presents more than 20 thousand exhibits from around the world. The museum was founded in 1909, and the basis of its exposition was the collection of Laurence Heinrich Etienne, after his death bequeathed the entire city.
