It's great to unwind after a marathon on the historical attractions of Detroit by visiting the local zoo. And it does not matter whether you are traveling with children or just an adult company. Animals in the Detroit Zoo can be photographed, but without a flash. By the way, it is also possible to feed, but only giraffes and solely the food given to you by the staff of the zoo (note, it is paid - 5 USD).
Working hours: daily 9:00 - 17:00 (April - September), 10 : 00 - 17:00 (October), 10:00 - 16:00 (November - March). The Detroit Zoo is closed to Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Entrance: 14 USD, for tourists over 62 years old and for children (up to 14 years): 10 USD, for children under 2 years free of charge. Please note that parking near the Detroit Zoo paid - 6 USD, for buses - 12 USD. The zoo also has entertainment: a ride riding simulator, a 4D movie theater (5 USD) and various carousels (2 USD).
