About 5 km north of Torzhok there is an architectural ensemble of the 18th century - the estate of Vasilevo. It is remarkable first of all for the ethnographic museum of wooden architecture, which was opened in 1979, where architectural monuments of the 18th-19th centuries are from all over the Tver region.

Also Vasilevo manor is famous for its one hundred-meter arch bridge with grottoes, named in one of the guidebooks of the middle of the 20th century "Devil's Bridge". Experts call this brick bridge the work of architect N. A. Lvov, a masterpiece of architectural fantasy and even a cascade symphony.

Among the two dozen exhibits of the Vasilevo manor, the Church of Transfiguration (the beginning of the 18th century), built according to the type of a cave temple and taken out of the churchyard Stas on the Sozi, the Znamensky temple (40s of the 18th century) and the chapel of the archistratigus Michael (mid-18th century).
