Add a review about the National Museum of the Republic of Tuva
The Local Lore Museum - the main repository of monuments of history and culture of Tyva. At present it consists of five departments: nature, history, pre-revolutionary Tuva, the period of the People's Republic of China, the Soviet Tyva and the funds. Expositions of these departments acquaint visitors with the ancient history of the region, its nature, wildlife and minerals, chronicles of development. In addition to the permanent exhibition, mobile exhibitions are regularly organized in all regions of the republic.
The museum has many unique exhibits, but the most noteworthy among them are:
- the original of the first Tuvinian alphabet,
- a fragment of a meteorite found on the river Cheng,
- a collection of ancient shaman attributes,
- Buddhist clothing, sculpture, tanks, musical instruments and sutras
- a collection of cult objects from the Verkhnechadansky huree transferred to museum by his last monk in 1956,
- gold plates, bronze plaque, ornaments and funerary deck from the Arzhaan mound, as well as the mound of the mound itself, made from larch found in it,
- ancient-ethnographic ethnographic collection (musical instruments, tools . Labor);
- collection of tools and household items Tyva cutters
