In the summer of 2010, a branch of the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, the Hermitage-Vyborg, appeared in Vyborg. It opened in the building of the 30th year of the last century. There used to be a collection of European and Finnish art.

Alley of Sculptures was gradually formed next to the Hermitage. This is a new landmark of the city, created on the initiative of Mikhail Piotrovsky. There are copies of the Italian sculpture of the 17-18 centuries of the Summer Garden and the Hermitage's gardens.

First there were four statues on the Panzerlax bastion that symbolized the seasons - Flora, Bacchus, Ceres and Vulcan. Later the alley was replenished with new works: "Cupid and Psyche", "Venus with a butterfly", "Flora" and "Venus Meditsenskaya". So the efforts of St. Petersburg friends in the city formed an interesting architectural and landscape complex.

Now from the height of the bastion to the city look the gods of Ancient Rome. You can visit them, communicate, learn the latest news from Italy. The management of the Hermitage branch plans to build a new museum of archeology near the foot of Panzerlax. Sound idea: the gods will not be bored with their peers.
