Italian photographer from Udine Marina Rosso will organize an exhibition "Beautiful Gene" (The Beautiful Gene), which will feature portraits of red-haired people from all over Europe. Photographs of redheads will be on display at the Milan Science and Technology Museum
Marina Rosso has traveled a huge number of European countries to find and photograph red-haired people, which are getting smaller. According to numerous studies, the red hair gene is recessive, so fewer such people are.
In total, Marina Rosso made more than two hundred shots, but selected only 47 of them for the photo exhibition. The exhibition on redheads encourages people to think about prejudices and evolution.
Photo exhibition "Beautiful Gene" will be held in Milan until June 3.
