You often hear about the "secret" and "deserted" beaches of Bali, which in fact are not a secret to anyone else. With the beach of Nyang-Nyang, this is not the case: its location has, until now, really remained classified. And no wonder. It is not easy to get here, and tourists are waiting for the way first, which can only be called expensive, and then a long staircase. And yet - absolutely amazing place with practically no people, white sand to the horizon and own spacious paradise.
Nyang-Nyang is located on the Bukit peninsula, in its westernmost part, near Uluwatu. The sand on the beach of Nyang-Nyang is light, small and strikingly clean: no hint of garbage. The beach itself is wide and long, straight. The waves are large, and quite large stones appear at a certain depth. But those who have not regretted getting here, hardly interested in "child" depth and perfectly flat bottom. The only people you can meet here are rare locals and one or two surfers.
On the beach, of course, there are no umbrellas, no sun beds , nor any other infrastructure, so you should take care of everything you need in advance. The nearest place to eat is the hotel's Puri Bali Nyang Nyang restaurant. It stands on top of a rock, not far from the last turn to the beach, and from the restaurant to the beach it looks great.
How to get to Nyang-Niang
It's best to go here on a bike. Approaching the temple Uluvatu, you need to turn not to the right (to the temple), and to the left, past the cafe "Ulu". After 100 m you will see two white pillars in front of a group of restaurants. Roll down the narrow path and follow it until the end: there will be a signpost to the beach. Go to the end of the cliff along the broken road, there is a small kiosk with drinks and snacks. Buy the missing, and then get down down the 500 steps to the beach.
