From September 20 to 23 in Buda Castle there will be held the festival "Sweet days of Budapest". The name of the festival is not accidental: it is devoted to such a delicacy, as everyone likes chocolate. This festival is completely "new": it will be held only for the second time. For the first time it was held in September last year, and so much was liked by local residents and tourists that the event was decided to be held annually.
This time the guests of the festival will be able not only to enjoy sweet dishes and products from the famous Hungarian confectioneries like Gundel, Ruszwurm and Szamos Marcipán, but also admire the beautiful panorama of the Danube, which is a UNESCO heritage site. And the Buda Castle itself, which hosts the "Sweet Days of Budapest", is the former residence of the Austro-Hungarian emperors.
