At first glance National races can seem like usual race on horses , but they are something more. The races take place at the Heroes' Square in Budapest, and every horse that takes part in the race represents one or another part of Hungary. The stakes at these races are unusually high.

Spectators watch the races from the special stands located around the Gallop Arena, where up to six riders compete at the same time. National races include six specially designed parts, each of which takes place on the main main historical square in Budapest, while Andrássy Street hosts horse parades, exhibitions and other cultural events.

The races will be held from September 14 to 16.
