The Numismatic Cabinet in Dresden is one of the largest collections in Europe and was created back in the 16th century. The total number of exhibits is about 300 thousand. The exposition of the numismatic cabinet (Münzkabinett) is represented by coins, banknotes, medals and insignia, securities, seals and stamp imprint, as well as chased equipment of the 16th century. Working hours: 10:00 - 17:30. The numismatic cabinet is open to visitors only on Wednesdays.
Entrance: The cost of the full ticket is 12 EUR. For visitors under 17, admission is free.
