One of the most attractive museums for tourists is the Cologne Museum of Chocolate, which opened in 1993 in the city, near the famous chocolate factory. The interest is not only the opportunity to get acquainted with the basics of modern chocolate business and artistic works of chocolate, but also the building of the museum standing on the island and resembling a ship.
Its exposition is extensive: here you can get acquainted with the technological processes of making different types of chocolate and chocolate products, taste these same products, learn about the basic principles of the trade in chocolate, consider a variety of products that promote chocolate.
Address: Am Schokoladenmuseum 1a.
The museum is open daily except Monday from 10:00 to 18:00, on weekends - from 11:00 to 18:00, the entrance fee is 7.50 EUR.
