One of the most attractive museums for tourists is the Cologne Museum of Chocolate, which opened in 1993 in the city, near the famous chocolate factory. The interest is not only the opportunity to get acquainted with the basics of modern chocolate business and artistic works of chocolate, but also the building of the museum standing on the island and resembling a ship.

Its exposition is extensive: here you can get acquainted with the technological processes of making different types of chocolate and chocolate products, taste these same products, learn about the basic principles of the trade in chocolate, consider a variety of products that promote chocolate.

Address: Am Schokoladenmuseum 1a.

The museum is open daily except Monday from 10:00 to 18:00, on weekends - from 11:00 to 18:00, the entrance fee is 7.50 EUR.

And I liked the place, and tastings were. We were offered an excursion in the hotel for an adult price of up to 10 euros, and half the price for children. I, as a fan of chocolate, could not miss this and we went to the factory.
Arriving there we were first instructed that you can touch what can not be, where you can walk, but where better not to climb. Dress us in shoe covers, white coats and we went to see how delicious German chocolate is made! What a smell! I did not want to air it. Machines do ... Read the whole review

This is exactly the tour, after which for a long time you regret about the time and money spent. 9 euros to the wind ... and this is for a pile of iron from which chocolate flows, for huge halls with papier mache sweets and plastic sculptures ...
Children may be interested ... but those over 18 it will be boring ...
and more ... NO TASTING !!! At the entrance you will get maaaalenkuyu chocolates 0, 5 * 0, 5 and all!

Let's start with the fact that the building itself looks quite unusual, all glazed, in the middle of the river, like a mysterious schooner. Inside, there are many equally amazing exhibits. At the entrance there is a box with chocolates that can be taken in unlimited ... Read full review
