Add a review about Linyinsy

Linyiensy - one of the oldest Buddhist monasteries in China. The church counts its history from the beginning of the 4th century and, despite the last millennium, to this day remains very influential and revered in China and beyond. Linyins is located in Hangzhou (about 180 kilometers from Shanghai), at the foot of Mount Feilai. During its existence, Linins has been rebuilt several times and today is an impressive complex with temples, numerous halls and simply picturesque territory.

There are always a lot of visitors in the Lininsi Monastery, but the local atmosphere is so calm and contemplating that nothing and no one breaks the harmony that reigns here.

Each of Linjinsa's temples has its own unique design, but in whatever hall you find yourself, you will be met by the peaceful sculptures of the Buddha. By the way, the biggest Buddha statue (its height is almost 25 meters) is installed in the main temple - Mahavira
