Having served almost 2 million passengers, Brussels airport Zaventem demonstrated the best indicator of August for passenger traffic in its entire history.

Traffic of passengers for last month amounted to 1, 96 million people - this is 1, 6% more than a year earlier. At the same time, July was not a good time for the Brussels airport: a month's passenger flow could not reach the mark of a year ago at 2, 1 million people. Thus, having overcome the 13 million mark with the arrival of autumn, the total traffic since the beginning of this year is only 0, 3% ahead of last year.

We remind that Zaventem airport is located 12 kilometers from Brussels. It is the central hub for several airlines: Abelag Aviation, Brussels Airlines, European Air Transport, EVA Air and Jet Airways.
