Add a review about Korf Castle

In Dorset county, one of the most famous castles in the history of England - Korf Castle - rises. According to legend, here was the beginning of a long bloody history, which was associated with succession to the throne. Saxon Queen Elfried, in order to free the throne for the younger brother of Ethelred, killed his adopted son Edward. Eventually, however, subsequent events led to the Norman invasion of England. A Corfu became a prison in which the rivals of kings fell.

Corf attracts tourists with its mystique and mysticism. There are constantly heard some rustling and incomprehensible sounds. They say that the souls of the tortured people can not find peace in any way.

Korf survived so many bloody events, how many did not fall to the lot of almost no English castle. For ten centuries, many tried to seize it, destroy it, wipe it off the face of the earth, but the fortress stood.
