The Fountain of Plaza de España (Barcelona) is often forgotten to look in the city of Barcelona, ​​carried away by the famous Singing (or Magic, if more correct) fountain, and in vain - this fountain is also unusual , it was created by famous masters, decorated with remarkable sculptures and undoubtedly worthy of attention.

It was built between 1915 and 1929. Both the square and the monument were created by several famous Spanish architects - in turn. According to the idea of ​​the creators, the fountain should be located on the road from Barcelona to Madrid and symbolize Spain's contribution to the world community and its maritime power. The third figure symbolizes the navigation, it depicts a female figure with a ship in her hands and a child who has a fish in her hand (a symbol of fishing). The top of the monument is decorated with a large bowl supported by three female figures - symbols of victories
