"Parents' House" for two stars of world opera scene - Jose Carreras and Montserrat Caballe, Liceo Theater is located at the beginning of La Rambla of the Capuchins. Built in 1847 and opened after a fire in 1999, today it is the true Grand Theater of Barcelona and the No. 1 place to come to listen to the opera. The repertoire may well give odds to the famous opera sites of the world, and the names of the artists are all loud. The facade and interior of the theater no less interesting than the performances, so the restaurant is open to the public and outside theater pieces

The most interesting room -. Elegant lobby in the Renaissance style, a luxurious mirror hall, as you might guess, with a lot of mirrors, gold moldings, paintings and sublime sayings about the nature of art in general and music in particular, and the actual auditorium in red velvet. Every day, at 10 am, an organized guided tour takes 1 hour 10 minutes; you can visit it on your own at 11:30, 12:00, 12:30 and 13:00 - in this case everything, everything takes about 20 minutes

Address: La Rambla dels Caputxins, 51-59, the nearest metro station - Liceu. The cost of the excursion is 11 EUR, 25 EUR, self-visit is 5, 50 EUR.

This theater, like La Scala, quite ordinary outside and unusually beautiful inside. And this, despite the periodic fires that occur in the theater. The last one was in 1994. But in spite of everything - the theater is magnificent.
The Liceu Theater is very conveniently located - the building stands on the main street of Barcelona La Rambla, from the Columbus Monument, literally five minutes walk. And the metro station is also called: Liceu. The ticket office of the theater is located next to the central entrance. Here you can also take a map of Barcelona, ... Read the whole review
