Cadiz - the capital of the province of the same name and one of the most ancient cities in Europe. Its wide sandy beaches, besides idle felting, are well suited for practicing water sports. The old town is small (but very interesting), you can get around it all in one day.

Entertainments, excursions and attractions of Cádiz
It is worthwhile to climb under the cupola of the Cathedral, go to Alameda de Apodaca - a small park on the ocean with a beautiful observation deck, To see the square of San Antonio and Mina, on the latter there is an interesting Archaeological Museum.
Also noteworthy is the Baroque church of San Felipe Neri, address: Calle Santa Inés, tel .: +34 (95) 621 16 12).
A special pleasure is to walk along the fortress walls that separate the city from the sea. The Forts of San Sebastian and Santa Catalina are open to visitors. It is equally interesting to come to the city: the road goes along a narrow isthmus, from where you can clearly see the sea and the frightening towers of the port from both sides. The bus station is in the heart of the city, it is convenient to get to the beaches, and to all the main attractions.
Carnaval of Cadiz is considered the third most colorful in all of Spain. As a rule, it falls on February, on the weekend before the Day of Repentance, so on these dates it is worth booking the hotel in advance.
