The Russian air carrier decided to cancel fuel surcharges for passengers purchasing tickets online on the company's website or at their sales offices.
Thus, tourists were able to save considerably when buying a ticket, as fuel charges are calculated in EUR depending on the duration of the flight. The decision on cancellation of fuel charges was taken with a view to retaining the attractiveness of traffic during the crisis period.
In turn, Aeroflot re-raised prices for its tickets. Tariffs for international destinations at the most punctual company in the world increased by at least 14%.
