Having spent the New Year holidays, it's possible to begin with a clear conscience to wait for spring with its adventure spirit and new impressions. And the best way to get these impressions is, of course , journey. Moreover, the first half of the year is more generous than ever on the occasions to jerk somewhere for a couple of days. What is worth only on February 23 and March 8, thanks to which the weekend is extended for a day. But how many Russians will seriously dare in times of crisis to succumb to such adventurous impulses? We decided to conduct a survey and find out from Russian tourists where and how they plan to spend February and March.

More than 800 people took part in our survey. It turned out that almost half of respondents were overwhelmed with a joyous spring mood! At the same time, 60% of them last year held the February and March holidays at home. Apparently, the crisis and the foggy future prompted "home-stayers" to realize dreams of distant countries, as long as there is such an opportunity.

The mood of the travelers is very serious: almost all of them have already decided on the direction. Mostly it's Russia or Europe, a little less popular in February and March are the Arab countries and South-East Asia. Only 9% of Russians are still thinking about choosing a course.

At the same time, the majority of respondents are going to independently organize their trip, only 40% of survey participants will go to the travel agency. A third of them have already booked everything, a little less are going to do it in the next 2 weeks or a few days. However, 22% of the "spring adventurers" still hope for the old-kind hot tours and plan to start hotel and ticket far from the date of departure.
