Add a review about Botchinsky Nature Reserve
The reserve is located on the north-eastern slopes of the Sikhote-Alin Range. The terrain is mountainous, with a predominance of altitudes from 600 to 1000 m above sea level. The highest point of the area of the reserve is Mount Beau-Jausa (1679 m), located near its north-western border.
The flora and fauna of the reserve is interesting and rich. Of the animals, sable, mink, otter, lynx, wolverine, wolf, brown bear, elk, roe deer, wild boar are common. In addition, this is the northernmost habitat of the Amur tiger. In Botch come pink salmon and chum salmon, here live taimen, char, lenok, grayling and other kinds of fish.
