Kiseleva rock is by right a visiting card of the city of Tuapse . It towers over it at 46 meters, representing an almost steep rocky block - an amazing creation of nature . There is an ancient Adyghe legend about the rock: there used to be a beautiful girl named Gouache . Her father was rich, owned almost the whole coast, and all the plants belonged to him . But none of the rich suitors suited the girl: everyone rejected the proud and unapproachable beauty . All , except for one stat guy . The problem was that he was a groom .
The girl told her father about her intention. He was so disappointed in her that, as a result, the girl was locked up, and in exchange she married her a new groom, of course, very rich. The girl refused to marry the 70-year-old Circassian. And in the end he appointed a groom-groom to meet on the rock Kiselev: at midnight the jigit galloped up here, and Guash came, only now he was chasing after his beloved pursuers. Because straight from the cliff he jumped into the abyss of 46 meters. She could not stand the Gouache, shed many bitter tears - and eventually followed him ...
This is the legend that explains the name of the rock: the cliff of Tears.
The second name is Kiseleva - originated in honor of the artist of the same name who perpetuated this sheer rock in his paintings. At Kadosh cape, you can also find the artist's home.
You can get to the rock Kiselev from the beach with the mysterious name of Spider. Go along the big boulders, and the walk itself will take about 40 minutes of time. Typically, tourists here are the least in the low season, and from a sheer cliff there is an excellent view of the entire coast. Those who want to swim are lucky - near this natural monument there is a tiny beach where tourists like to put tents. From the outskirts of the rock Kiselev does not seem so big.
