Add a review about the complex "Psynyako"

Ten kilometers from the city of Tuapse is the ancient megalithic complex "Psynyako". As is usually the case with such facilities, it is a continuous mystery for researchers. The mound has a very interesting shape: from the center down run down the chain, laid out boulders of different shapes. Discovered this landmark in 1972: a complex structure consists of a dolmen, a layer of clay, to this is added a river cobblestone.

Near the megalithic complex, the Pshenakho River flows - this is a distorted name, from Psynyako, which means "valley of springs."

The main research of the "Psynyako" mound complex was conducted in 1985. Interestingly, there is no such thing in the Caucasus. Dating complex - the third century BC. When it comes to dolmens, researchers are at an impasse regarding the appointment of such monuments. The area of excavation in this mound is 2 hectares. Despite the fact that this place was supposed to serve for burials, no graves were found under it. Pits for burial are, but they are covered with stones.

From the dolmen there was a stone corridor called dromos. The mound was 70 meters in diameter and 6 meters in height. And everything was built so that from the top you could watch the sunrise: during the summer solstice it appeared between the peaks of the mountain Two Brothers. Nearby there is a stone ring, and in his appointment archaeologists doubt.

At first, everyone was confronted with strange rays that scattered in different directions; but then it became clear - the ancients put their sanctuary here for nothing . It is best here in the days of the summer and winter solstice, in the autumn and spring equinox - then you can admire the sun rising between the two mountains . It is supposed that this was an ancient astrological Observatory . The second option is the temple . At the excavation no traces of the person who pointed to the sanctuary's destination were found, and the structure itself looks like negligently stoned stones . It is believed that the sun was worshiped here .
