Historical facts
The first settlements on the territory of the present-day Tula region appeared 12 thousand years ago in the Late Paleolithic. Tula was first mentioned in the annals of 1146, according to another version, in 1382.
On the territory of the region was laid a large zasechnaya feature, where the main role in the defense played the Tula Kremlin. From the industrialist Nikita Demidov, the industrial development of the region begins.
