How to get here
From Moscow train from Belorussky railway station to Rybinsk (5 hours on the way, arrives at night); or by train from Savelovsky station to the station "Savelovo" and then by suburban train (once a day) - the whole journey takes about 5, 5 hours
From St. Petersburg train from Moscow station to Uglich (11, 5 hours on the way) or to Tver (10 departures a day, 5-7 hours on the way). Further by bus to Kashin (3 flights per day), Kalyazin (2 flights per day) or Kesov Mountain (1 flight per day). Travel time by bus is about 3-5 hours

Kashin is the only resort town in Tver region. The sanatorium is located in the center of the city, near the sources of medicinal and table mineral water. Entertainment, excursions and sights
The whole city is cut by the river Kashinka, which winds through all areas, and in one place forms an extremely narrow jumper on which only one street is located. From it you can see the same river on the right and on the left.
Here you should see the Ascension Cathedral, the elegant Ilyinsky-Transfiguration Church (1778), the Church of the Nativity of Christ on the Hill (1786), the Cross Church, located next to the sanatorium, on the other side from the Maslatka Valley. And also: the churches of Peter and Paul, Flora and Lavra, the Museum of Local Lore in the Church of the Entry Church (1789).
The monasteries of the city are the active Klobukov, the ruins of the Dmitrovsky and Sretensky monasteries. Until 1998 there was a beautiful wooden church of St. Joachim and Anna (1646) in the city, from which, unfortunately, there was only one ash. Photo by Kashin (7)
