Petr I's house is the only building that has been preserved since the first days of Petersburg. It was built by soldiers-carpenters for three days, served as the first residence of the king on the banks of the Neva. In the study, the dining room and the bedroom of the Lodge are the original items belonging to Peter I, household items of the early 18th century, materials about the events of the Northern War of 1700-1721, the foundation of St. Petersburg, and the construction and restoration of the monument itself.
