Sheremetev Palace - Museum of Music, also called the "Fountain House" in the place of its location in the territory of the former estate of Count Sheremetev "Fountain House". A plot of land along the Fontanka River (Bezymyanniy Yerik) was granted to Peter the First by the Field Marshal, Count BP Sheremetev in 1712. The two-storey stone palace that now exists was built in 1750. The architect of the building is S. Chevakinsky. There are reasons to believe that the draft used drawings of F.-B. Rastrelli.
