Valle Isarco (Valle Isarco) is located in the Dolomites, at the beginning of the Pusteria Valley, and includes 17 villages. Most of them, namely 14 villages, are included in the skiing area of Dolomiti Superski, while the other three centers located in the upper part of the valley have a separate ski pass.
About two thousand years this picturesque place did not attract any attention, local residents led a quiet and measured way of life. While in the early 20th century Europeans were attacked by a "ski boom". Since then every winter, this valley has become a popular pilgrimage place for skiers of all stripes - from "green" beginners to experienced pros. The first lift (telescope) was opened here in Plose, in the year 1910.
