How to get here
The nearest airports are in Milan - these are the international airports of Linate, Malpensa and Orio al Serio, as well as in Brescia-Montichiari. During the winter season from November 26 to April 22, regular buses run between Milan airports and the resorts of Alta Valtellina. The fare is from 25/30 EUR from the airports of Orio al Serio / Malpensa to Bormio, from 35/40 euros to Livigno. You can book a bus ticket on the MT BUS website.
By train on the Milan-Lecco-Sondrio-Tirano line. The trip from Milan to Tirano takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes. From Tirano by bus you can get to Santa Caterina.
