History

The university was founded in 1921, when the local lawyer Astorre Lupattelli created courses on the study of culture, history and the nature of the native land - Umbria. Until 1926 the courses were held in the building of the University of Perugia (L'Università degli Studi di Perugia), as well as in the Sala dei Notari Palazzo Priori.
