The National Museum of Bargello (Museo Nazionale del Bargello) has collected almost the entire history of Italian sculpture: from carved medieval monsters to marble to Jambologni and Ammanati.
Bargello Palace is the oldest public building in Florence, in the Middle Ages served as the seat of the city administration and city council, then - prison and barracks.
A separate room is dedicated to Donatello, on the ground floor there is Michelangelo, and at the top are collections of knightly vestments, Arab carpets, figurines from ivory and terracotta of the della Robbia family
