Add review about Neve Tzedek

Neve Tzedek district has the status of a historical monument of the architectural development of Tel Aviv in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Founded in 1887, Neve Tzedek was the first quarter of wealthy townsfolk outside the walls of old Jaffa. It was built up spontaneously, without a single town-planning plan, so the local architecture for the late 19th century was so colorful, so ultra-modern.

But the booming Tel Aviv of the first half of the 20th century ignored Neve Tzedek, which now seemed a remote village inside growing like a mushroom skyscrapers megapolis. Miraculously avoided the demolition, thanks to the efforts of public figures and enthusiastic residents Neve Tzedek acquired the status of an architectural monument.

For the modern Tel-Aviv quarter Neve Tzedek has become a bohemian place, popular among tourists who love industrial recreation. Here are a number of museums and galleries, and a variety of cafes and houses with unusual facade decoration turn the walk into a motley series of bright pictures @ @ Neve-Tzedek
Among the famous local attractions can be identified "Susan Dalal" - the center of theatrical and ballet art , the Nakhum Gutman Museum, the Israeli artist and sculptor, the Shlusha Bridge, the twin houses, the building of the former school "Alliance", which was the main educational institution of the Neve Tzedek district until the middle of the 20th century.

There is a city legend that Nahum Gutma convinced the parents that he should attend a girls' school, because he wanted to study in Hebrew, and the boys were trained in the French language at the school "Alliance."
