The exposition of the August Macke Haus House Museum, located in a building built in the style of late classicism in 1877-1878, is devoted to the works of the German artist-expressionist August Macke

Here the artist lived since 1911, in the attic was his studio, where he created more than 350 paintings. In 1989, the city bought out the house and restored it to its original appearance. Now in the museum are documents and some personal belongings of the artist
