The highest point of the German part of the mountain Alpine massif, and in combination with the whole of Germany, is the majestic and enchanting peak of Zugspitze, whose height reaches almost 3000 meters (to be exact - 2962 m).

Zugspitze has long been famous for its remarkable ski slopes that function all year round and even in summer! This, by the way, is the only place in the whole of Germany, where you can skate at any time of the year.

Garmisch-Partenkirchen

Not far from the highest point of Germany is one of the the most famous resorts of the German Alps is the cozy Garmisch-Partenkirchen. A real fairy-tale town surrounded by mountains, crystal-clear lakes built up by medieval houses with painted walls.
