History and culture
The history of the Patsnaun Valley and the mountain villages located is closely connected with the Middle Ages, the Tyrol counts and the Landeck district. The name "Kappl" appeared much later and was a tribute to the architecture of the marvelous chapel of St. Anthony, which, along with other chapels, was the cultural treasure of this locality.

Kappl's trails
Kappl can offer its own skiing region, and skiing is possible here almost to any hotel. Most of the routes of the region are "blue" and "red", so skating here will be interesting mainly to beginners and "serednyachkam", as well as a family with children. The length of the trails is about 40 km. The modern lift system is one of the advantages of the resort.
There are two variants of the ski pass: the first (Kappl ski pass) operates on all trails and lifts within the Kappl, the second (Silvretta ski pass) extends to other resorts of the Paznaun Valley. The price depends on the number of days, season (high or no), age and time of skiing. For example, a two-day ski pass Silvretta for an adult in high season (that is, from the end of December to the beginning of January or from the end of January to the beginning of April) will cost 89.50 EUR.
